A group of profit-driven military trophy hunters in search of valuable World War II memorabilia fall into a mysterious time rift that transports them to the year 1942 and directly into the black heart of a particularly fierce skirmish. They plundering the battlefields for priceless historical artifacts when they came across a particularly valuable cache of vintage weapons, medals, and documents. It's a dangerous business, so when a pale, barefoot man suddenly appears before vanishing without a trace, the four treasure hunters are seriously spooked. Later, after discovering an old scrapbook owned by the slain soldier and featuring photos taken during the war, the team decides to take a reinvigorating dip in a nearby lake. Upon surfacing, however, the swimmers quickly realize that they have somehow traveled back in time, and that they're about to experience the horrors of war firsthand.
